Request for Parent Helpers
If any parents are interested in helping out in the Library, please come along on Friday mornings to assist with shelving books and shelf tidying. Friday morning is when the Kindergarten students have library borrowing, so it would be great for parents with students in kinder, but of course, all are welcome. Next Friday, 13th May, there will be a brief training session at 8.45am. Please email me at moonh01@dow.catholic.edu.au to register your interest or if you have any questions.
Request for student volunteers
From next fortnight's newsletter I am hoping to introduce a new segment featuring a student and their favourite book.
Any students interested in being a part of this feature should talk to your parents first and email me a photo of yourself holding a copy of your favourite book and a brief write up telling me what you love about your chosen book. If you do not have photo permission you can still participate, with your parent's permission, by telling me the title of your favourite book and why you love it. MoonH01@dow.catholic.edu.au
