Diocesan Rugby Union
Isaac Tasca, Nate Russell and Ryder Bighetti travelled to Forbes early this week to represent the Wollongong Diocese at the MacKillop Rugby Union trials. The Sunday afternoon session was dedicated to training with an hour run by NSW Rugby development officers and an additional hour as a team training session. The Wollongong team performed well with some solid performances over Monday's trials. These great team performances may not have been reflected in selections with only two students gaining a start into the final Possibles V Probables game. Selections are difficult at the best of times and no doubt the MacKillop staff had a number of factors in mind with their final selections.
