A note to let you know this is our last week for borrowing books in the library. All books students have borrowed from us are due to be returned by the end of next week, Friday 9th December 2022. 

Students can continue to borrow online resources/books from SORA which can be accessed through our library homepage - from our school website under the drop down 'Learning' tab, under 'Learning Technologies'.

In Week 10 you will receive an email notification if your child has any outstanding book loans. We do always remind students to return their borrowed books when they're at school and I am mindful that when students borrow from our library not all books make it home. It might therefore surprise you to receive an outstanding loan notification but it is simply a way of asking you if you could ask your child to check for any book/s they might have in their school bag or in their classroom if they're not at home. If you could do this I would be very grateful. We do have missing books from time to time (and that's ok) and they sometimes turn up when I do a stocktake but often the students find them when they've had a prompt from a parent.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in the library this term. It has been a hive of activity and I have begun documenting online what students have been upto during recess and lunchtimes. This can again be found from our library homepage under 'Mrs Carroll's Corner'.
