Primary Athletics Selection Trials

On Tuesday 15th August 2023, the Primary Athletics Selection Trials were held at Beaton Park. Congratulations to our team who proudly represented St Columbkille's.

The first two placegetters in each event, gained selection to represent the Wollongong Diocese at the Mackillop Trials. These will be held at Sydney Olympic Park, Homebush on Monday 18th September, 2023.

Catholic Schools Tag and Tackle Legends Gala Day

The Catholic Schools Tag and Tackle Legends Gala Day for Stage 3, was held at Croome Rd, Albion Park today. The sportsmanship shown to one another and the opposing sides was exemplary. Our 'Cobra's' thoroughly enjoying participating with their classmates and against opposition teams. Thank you to Mrs Lowrie and parents who supported our teams on the day. The day was a great success and we had lots of fun. Well done.

NSW /ACT/ QLD Interschools Snowsports Championships

Oliver Park competed at the NSW /ACT/ QLD Interschools Snowsports Championships at Perisher on Monday in Alpine and Moguls. There were over 500 schools competing at this years event and he finished 11th in the Moguls.

Oliver has qualified to compete at the Australian Interschools Snowsports Championships to be held in Mt Buller Victoria in September. This is an outstanding achievement. Congratulations to Oliver and his brother and former SCC student, Preston (1st Slopestyle event). We wish them all the very best at the Australian Championships next month.
