Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Lattimore on the birth of their baby daughter Maelilolani.  It is a wonderful time in the life of a family and we wish Tom, Kiara and their son Salvador all the very best and every success.
World Teachers Day is celebrated each year on the 27 October. This day and recognises the ongoing contributions that our teachers make. This day highlights their humility, compassion, care, service and ability to make a significant, sustainable and positive difference to the lives of students and their families.  Thank you to the P&F for providing morning tea to staff. It is a wonderful gesture and greatly appreciated.

Yesterday, we welcomed our new and current Kinder 2024 families to our SCC through the Kinder Orientation. Thank you to all of our staff, students and parents who were involved in the Kinder Orientation - Max and Laura O'Shea, Eliyanah  and Rhemma Mashaba, Ashton Cooper, Livinia McLuskey, Alissa Bishop, Claude Vincent and Dominik Raschilla. It is an extremely exciting time for  our school community as we commence our Transition Playgroup sessions from Monday 23 October.
Congratulations to our SPLICED students who have completed their projects on A View From Afar. Students were invited to engage in higher order thinking to explore the topic in any domain of their choosing. The 2023 SPLICED students were: Claude Vincent, Taavi Cooke, Dylan Fang, Isabella Masters and Sabina Santillan.
Well done to Taavi Cooke's who's project has been selected to be published as a part of the Diocesan SPLICED website.
Great results for many of our students who participated in the ICAS testing during August. Students were able to participate in a range of subjects including Science, Maths, Writing, Spelling and Digital Technologies. Our results ranged from participation through to Distinction. Well done to all who attempted the tests.
Thank you to Mrs O'Connor for her ongoing work, support and time that has been dedicated to both our students in the SPLICED program and ICAS testing.
