Why Aquathlon
  • Aquathlon is a multi-sport discipline combining swimming and running with a transition
  • Minimal cost and equipment needed

  • Swimming and running are fundamental sport and life long activities 
 Partnership 
  •  Catholic Schools NSW has partnered with NSW Triathlon to provide school aged students of all abilities the opportunity to challenge themselves in a unique and fun event.
  • By providing this opportunity students may grow a love for the sport and pursue further representation in aquathlon and/or triathlon. 
 Date  Tuesday 19 December 2023 - Term 4, Week 11
 Venue  Max Parker Leisure & Aquatic Centre
 Address  Marco Avenue, Revesby NSW

  Affiliated system schools and congregational schools to the Catholic Schools NSW

 Age criteria
  •  8 years to 19 years 
  • Combined age groups i.e.
 Event timings 
  •  First race 8.30am 
  • Last race concludes at approximately 2.30pm

 Timing chip collection
  Timing chip collection will close 45 minutes before the schedule start time of each age division
 What to Bring
  •  Swimming costume 
  • Goggles
  • Sunscreen     
  • Running shoes
  • Running vest/top (torso to be covered on the run course)
  • Small bag
  • Hat
  • Refreshments
  • Lunch
  • Water bottle

 Cost
  •  Entry - $35 - up to an including 4 December
  • Late entry $55 - up to an including 11 December
  • No entries accepted after 11 December
  • The above entry costs are payable via the Catholic Schools NSW Sport portal
 Bulletin
  •  A finalised bulletin will be sent on Wednesday 6 December 2023 detailing finalised and specific information about the aquathlon for all students that have been registered with Catholic Schools NSW Aquathlon.
