Students from Year 5 are invited to join The Patch Garden Club for Term 3, 2024.  

The group meet each Friday morning from 8:15 to plant, grow, water and harvest a variety of vegetables, fruits and herbs.  We learn about seasonal produce, good insects, bad insects, composting, worm farming and even get to sample many of the varieties of fruit and vegetables we grow.

The morning group is led by Mrs Paula Russo, a knowledgeable retired teacher who has volunteered to work with the Yr 5 students. Mrs Russo is asking for some parents or grandparents of these students to accompany their child to assist all the children with the weekly tasks. The more volunteers, the more students who can be offered the opportunity.
