We have arranged our Professional Learning on this basis. Some of the areas we have worked within include:

• school leaders and teachers understand and work within school’s shared curriculum expectations, participating in collaborative processes to ensure alignment between curriculum, teaching, learning, and assessment

• assessment processes aligned with school’s curriculum plan and designed to establish where students are in their learning, and monitor learning progress over time

• opportunities for Professional Learning provided to build staff capability in curriculum implementation and review

• creation of a School Vision for Faith, Learning and Wellbeing - in consultation with staff, parents and students

• the use of High Impact Teaching Strategies 

An extensive amount of time and work has been put into this area by all of our teaching staff. Class teachers have designed and implemented quality pre and post assessments which have demonstrated clear and in many cases, signficant growth, for our students.
