School Award System & Sticker Books

At St Columbkille’s we acknowledge and recognise student achievement in all aspects of school life. Merit Awards, Sticker Books, together with the school Core Values, are presented at the Award Assembly on Friday afternoon. Children receive merit awards for academic, behavioural, sporting and social achievements. Our fortnightly Core Value focus is printed in the newsletter and announced at our morning assembly.

Each week, two Merit Awards are presented together with one award for the Core Value focus from each class. Merit Awards from the Library, PE, Music and Italian will also be presented. When your child has received five awards please send them to the school office and they will be presented with a Mary MacKillop Award at the following assembly. When three Mary MacKillop awards have been received a school medallion will be presented to recognise this outstanding achievement. This is ongoing and does not restart at the commencement of each year. Again we ask that the three Mary MacKillop certificates are sent to the office.
